Oh cut up/diced raw onions are ok in moderation but not sitting there eating three huge-ass onion like they were apples. That's... horrible.

I eat diced or sliced raw onion all the time. It's an excellent addition to many meals.

Oh yeah. Just disappointingly expensive where I live and since I'm the only one in my family who revels in them, I don't get to enjoy the experience very often. I always have canned chiles in the pantry though and at least one jar of jalapenos in the fridge.Also, raw chilies? To die for.![]()

Chopped tomatoes and onions (maybe cucumbers, often not) with lemon juice and just a bit of salt. Absolutely delicious!
Of course the fact that I'm, well, allergic to tomatoes provides some difficulties.
