Omega particle scientists is Kelpien ?

The recent discussion about the possible connection of Omega particle and the "The burn" in discovery S3, lead me to go back and watch the "Omega Directive" of Voyager at Netflix.

In that episode, the scientists who create Omega particles at the M-class moon seems to look alike Kelpien for me. Here are the links to the guy and Saru of discovery...

I think they'll reference the Omega Particle. It's one of the few things that could bring down the Quadrant. Even as advanced as the Federation would become. But I think that's as far as they'll go.

DSC seems to be bringing back the Forehead Aliens in full force. I hoped they'd stay in Berman Trek where they belong, but not a big deal.

Doubtful. And why do people think something that was in one forgettable episode of VOY is going to be the thing that caused the Burn?

To be fair, the forehead aliens we see in the trailer seem to be preexisting ones. It seems more a nostalgia thing than it does a lack of creativity thing.

Mostly true, and I get that, but the alien Saru talks to who says he always believed they were part of the Federation looks like he stepped right off one of Michael Westmore's chairs.
