It's the 80s TARDIS built for The Leisure Hive - they always kept it for exhibitions and stuff.

Interesting. So it could just be sitting out the back in between exhibition outings or something. Surprised it still exists in one piece, I wonder what happened to it between the end of the original series and the start of the new one?
