Oh, (Big) Brother!

Well, it's a shame for Tiffany. I hope she either wins the veto, or gets taken off the block. And I really hope Victor is not chosen to play in the veto competition.

Well, even if she stays on the block, she still has the numbers with her alliance to be safe this week.

If she wins the veto, Paulie's back door plan for Victor goes out the window because Victor will have to put up a replacement nominee.

Okay, I'd overlooked that part of it. I just want her to do well at this. She's nowhere near the top of the list of people I'd like to see win this time, but it would be a shame if she were evicted early.

I'm seeing too much Vanessa in her, but it's like the weaker twin. As much as she cried, Vanessa was a power player in the game. Tiffany is wallpaper.

I will too. We all know the early power players always fizzle out (see Devin, Brian etc.) and we are left with people we never thought would be near the end.

I have to admit, Paulie really impressed the hell out of me with this one.

I was less impressed with Tiffany in this episode. She gave me nasty Vanessa flashbacks.

Natalie is so hot. And she does not care about looks in a guy. Where was Natalie when I was 18? :)

Yeah, I think one Vanessa is all anyone can take. I have to admit that I wanted her to win the last Big Brother. She was really unlikable at times - when she'd cry and go into Full Paranoia Mode - but she was able to pull off some amazing escapes from eviction until that last time when she just couldn't do it (I wonder if anything came of that Austin/Julia romance...).

^The twins were in the studio audience last Thursday night, but no sign of Austin/Judas.

Ol' Paul was laying it on pretty thick in last night's veto ceremony. I wonder if anyone else noticed how staged the whole thing seemed.

With Bronte apparently not a contender, who do you guys think will go home tonight: back-doored Victor or paranoia-filled Tiffany?

I feel like Victor will go home. As much as some in the house want Tiffany gone (mainly Frank), I think that Victor's association with Jozea has sealed his fate.

I believe Austin and Liz dated for a couple of months after the show. Liz and Julia moved to L.A. for their modeling careers (which seems to be going well for them) and then shortly after the move Austin and Liz broke up. That was one showmance I did not enjoy watching. Actually, now that I look back on last season, I really didn't enjoy much of the cast at all. I liked Da'Vonne and Jason just for pure entertainment value, but many of the rest were unlikable. Even Vanessa, who I was hoping would win, had her serious flaws.

It has been an interesting few days on the feeds this week. Keep in mind that the show is always a few days behind the feeds, so I'll use spoiler tags...

There is a new target in the house. And no, I don't mean Tiffany. It is mainly Frank that seems obsessed with getting Tiffany out. He claims it is because she plays too emotionally and tries to intimidate people, but that's funny coming from him because that's exactly how he is playing the game. He has gotten way too cocky and it hasn't gone unnoticed. He is trying to make side deals with several people in the house, and is sharing information that the 8pack doesn't want shared. He spilled about the 8pack to Paulie, and made it seem like it was all the girls' idea, basically throwing them under the bus. He has what he thinks is a secret alliance with Bridgette, who feeds him information from around the house. Everyone sees it.

He has also made several unsavory comments about the women in the house. For example, slapping Zakiyah's butt as he walks past, calling Day a slut at one point, slapping Zakiyah's tummy and telling her she's getting chubby, telling Nicole she eats too much, etc. He also makes demands like telling Nicole to do his laundry and waking Bridgette up from sleep to tell her they got new food supplies so she needs to cook him a meal. It's one of those situations where he thinks he's just joking around, but there's clearly truth in what he's saying and the women are not having it.

Day, Nicole, and Zakiyah have decided that going after Tiffany makes no sense for them and really only benefits Frank. Instead the target is definitely Frank, and now Michelle, James, Paulie, Tiffany, and Corey are in on that plan as well. They are hoping to win HOH and backdoor him in this upcoming week. If this truly happens, I would love it! I can't stand Frank, the way he is acting this season is just how he was on his last season, and I couldn't stand it then either. Arrogant, misogynist, overly emotional, demanding, and trying to intimidate others into getting what he wants. I was actually willing to give him another shot and thought he was alright for the first week, but in the past few days his true self has really come out. I still don't understand how he won America's Favorite last time. He admitted to cheating in competitions and picking veto players and sat around talking shit about people all day with Boogie. Ugh.

I do appreciate no spoilers, folks. :) I can't access any online CBS content, and I don't get whatever channels might be showing other stuff besides what's on the main network episodes.

That said, I try to remember not to read this thread after 6 pm MDT on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday until after the episode has been shown here. It's not on until 10 pm tonight, which is midnight EDT. So go ahead and discuss the current episode, but I'd really appreciate if any references to the "after dark" or other feed material that hasn't been shown on TV yet be in spoiler tags, please.

Okay, I just read the spoiler material... holy crap. I had no idea what a POS he is.

I'm not remotely sorry to see Victor go, and so far there's not one person who's out that I'd want back.

Bridget's "cute little innocent girl" act is nauseating.

Yeah, Bridgette isn't my favorite either, but I'm super glad that she won the HOH over beard-scowl himself, Paul.

I have no idea where Bridgette is at right now strategically. No idea how this week will go. But props to her for learning the comp quickly.

I'm not very happy that Bridgette won, mostly because she has had that little side alliance going on with Frank. He is very bossy and when Bridgette won it was basically understood by the HG that it was really going to be Frank's HOH. So much for the backdoor Frank plan that was brewing. :(

"I mean..."

"He's very, very..."

"I won't tell anybody that you won the Roadkill comp, buuuuuut..."

Come on, houseguests: Finish a thought!

At the end of the Roadkill nomination ceremony, Bridgette was as ferocious as a bored kitten. Wasn't she a part of the conversation last week when a group of the girls dedicated themselves to nominating all males if they got HoH? So much for that plan. Not only did she align herself with the strongest male competitor in the house, but she also set about doing his dirty work by putting Tiffany on the block.

And, boy, is that Frank a piece of work. Yeesh. I remember now why he always had to fight so hard to stay off / get off the block in his first season in the house.

When Frank was shocked at Davonne's crying, did it remind anyone else of

that guard in OitNB when Pensatucky classified their sexual encounter as rape?

He couldn't understand why Da'Vonne was so upset; after all, according to him, he pinches his mom and Nana on the butt all the time. :wtf:
