A few years back I did a test of Parallax and Depth of Field animation, similar to the multiplane camera used by Walt Disney feature animation for decades, only created entirely using video editing software. The subject was a recreation of Gotham City from "Batman: The Animated Series". Now I've updated that original attempt with airbrush style textures, a more detailed sky, and even a fully animated moving train! It's only 12 seconds long but I packed a ton into it, all things considered.
