I have my keepers set up and have some of my auto-draft settings set (you never know with work and a newborn baby if you'll be around to draft.)
Not sure. sent a reminder/request to tell us if they aren't coming back, haven't heard anything one way or the other. all but 3 teams have already selected keepers, so that's a good sign. Will definitely let you know if it looks like we have openings, always looking for fresh meat for the grinder
All but one team submitted keepers, but he didn't say anything one way or the other, so not sure. I'll have to go back and look to see how active he was last year, if he was fairly dormant, may take that as the sign to boot...
Wednesday March 29th, 8pm EDT. Tried to get it late in the cycle to avoid the late-spring training TJ rush...
Sorry that dragged on. Honestly don't know who the other player is at this point, as I don't see a Username that matches up at Trekbbs anymore, but looking at the history from last year, they look like they were fairly active, so I don't think I can kick them out. Wish they'd respond and confirm it, but all I can do for now. Sorry, and will definitely keep you in mind. If we get a quitter later on (or this guy doesn't do anything out of the gate), I can add you in then if you'd like. Not as much fun when you didn't draft the team, but can always make trades, and it's a multi-year keeper league anyway, so you'd have it going forward...
^ Think he used to be Donkey Run here? Or something like that. Everyone else had keepers at least. Sorry EMH, but will definitely let you know if something comes open or we punt anyone. Remember you were in it way back when, so legacy status
Still getting use to the ESPN system (it has been nearly ten years...), but is there someway to see how batters perform against lefties and righties, even on an individual basis?
i think just vs. that pitcher. can always go to baseballreference.com and get all the minutia of their splits and whatnot.
Ah, well, I figured that was the case. I found splits on players' individual pages, separate from the fantasy section, but that's more of a pain of the ass.
What happens if a playoff round ends with a tie? Does the team with the better season record win? That doesn't seem entirely fair and I say that as someone who would benefit from that this round.
Yeah, it's always a little screwy. I thought it was head to head record, but may just be seeding position. Quick google search says it's higher seed moves on... If you wanted to advance in a tie, gotta win more regular season games, I guess.
