Wow. Just wow.
Sooooo glad I waited till the HD one came out, it's beautiful. I got goosebumps on that shot of the big E being constructed. And the Vulcan shots look great.
Quinto's Spock voice sounds really nice, What was that shot of him materialising?! Weird uber-fast transproter effect or time travel? It reminded me of the apparaition effect on the Harry Potter trailer.
btw, did they really have to mirror that shot of Spock attacking Kirk? The delta shield makes Star Trek in general so obvious when you do that.

In the clouds or mist or whatever the hell it is, when he is riding his motorcycle there is something that looks like the Golden Gate Bridge's superstructure in the distance. At least that's what it looked like to me. Probably Iowa though given how flat it is. *shrugs* Loving Urban as McCoy so far.
Few details that I could make out in slo mo that are interesting...
1. the pit Kirk drives the car into is where the Enterpirse is going to be built. The construction towers you see later are visible in the distance from the pit. somebody said it earlier, and they were right!
2. the cop isn't a robot, just a guy in a vader mask ( a very cooly designed mask BTW)
3. The background behind Sarek and Amanda on Vulcan is a digital collage of vasquez rocks-- where Shatner fought the Gorn captain
4. I think there is a quick shot of Nero as prisoners of some Klingons
5. The giant alien monster bears a resemblance to the Cloverfield creature
6. The Kelvine serious gets it's ass beat-- there's at least 3-4 shots of it getting slammed

Kirk's car has an Iowa licence plate, too.
I have noticed somthing potentially interesting. I was going through the 1080p trailer, and at about 1:40 (the frame where Spock has his hand on Kirks throat), you can see a blurry figure to the right of Spock who does not appear to be wearing a starfleet uniform, and I think I can also see gray hair. Is it Nimoy?
*edit* On second though, I think maybe it is Scotty, as whoever it is appears to be wearing the same kind of coat.

How do I download the HD trailers from the Apple website, I can see the icons for 720P and 1080P but I cannot click on them.
