Official Terminator Season Two Spoiler Thread

^ I would love to see Cameron appear in the film myself, and I understand it could be merely a set visit.

Still hoping though (they said she was in military fatigues which has me hoping).

^ Cameron's model number has not been revealed on screen. The closest we have is a promotional poster identifies her as a TOK-715

^ I am going to rewatch the episode tomorrow in HD and see if her startup screen reveals more about her though.

I have watched a few episodes from the Season 1 DVD set, and I have a couple of questions. These things would have been discussed here months ago, but there they are anyway:

Did Cromartie's skull really remain undetected, collecting dirt on the roadside, for 8 years before it was found by a worker? Or did this Terminator's damaged parts also make the jump into 2007 with the Connors and Cameron?

In 2007, what activated the rest of Cromartie's skeleton, which then proceded to search for its missing skull? And since the skeleton had no eyes, how did it know where it was going?

Deleted scene for "The Turk":
Ellison interviews Carlos and tells him that his uncle (Enrique) was killed by the same gun that killed three others. Did Cameron kill Enrique with a gun that she took from Cromartie?

I cannot answer your other questions because it would be pure speculation from my part, but this one I can!
The skull traveled forward to 2007 with them. I guess the organic tissue deteriorated during the jump. So the skull remained on the roadside for a few hours only.

NX already answered this one.

** Edited: Sorry, Mutenroshi answered this. My apologies Mutenroshi **

Not sure. As Mutenroshi stated, one could only speculate, but it seems the skull enabled a homing signal that activated the body. The body may not be able to "see" the visual spectrum, however it may have a batlike sonar system that enables it to "see" and track movement. I've stated this before, I think, but perhaps that sonar system is what drives dogs crazy.

I believe Ellison was referring to the three dead resistance fighters found in the apartment, who were killed by the Vick terminator. I don't recall if Cameron or Sarah recovered a gun when they went there the first time and encountered Vick. If they did, that was probably the gun that Cameron used to kill Enrique.

Yeah, sarah recovered a .45 (don't remember what gun, i'll watch S1 again in a few weeks) and Cameron picked up a glock, i think it is the same one she gave to "the Chola"

1.) Cromartie's Head
As Mutenroshi said the T-888's head went along for the Temporal ride. Now you may ask how because - as shown in the episode - it was pure metal. That isn't entirely accurate. Cromartie still had skin when the transport began, but it was burning away.

2.) What activated the skeleton?
Believe it or not it was the road worker's cat. The producers said that Cromartie was offline but the cat reactivated it when sniffing Cromartie's head. When the head came back online, Cromartie was able to run a scan and found that the endoskeleton was still intact and reactivated it.

3.) How did it search for its skeleton?
The T-888 has been said by producers to have not one but three processor chips located along its body. The main processor is the 'brain', but auxiliary processors can kick in and are located in the torso. Personally I did not read this from any official source though. I read this in a post by Christopher believe it or not back when Gnothi Seauton first aired (he said that the writers frequented another board he visits and answered this question).

4.) How did it search?
While not said in any episode on screen, the T-800 series at least had additional sensor devices located on its skeleton. It probably used these to travel. Or, if the additional processors is true, perhaps it was able to connect to an orbital satellite and was watching through video feed as it moved around. Then again maybe it was a bluetooth connection and it was just homing in.

5.) The mystery gun
Both Cameron and Sarah could be seen taking guns from the safehouse. I belive Cameron took the gun directly from Vick's hand before he reactivated (he was in standby).

I'm more interested in what happened the body than the head during the intervening years. I can't believe that an advanced cybernetic skeleton would just end up in a junkyard like that unnoticed for almost a decade.

^ Surprisingly I can understand it. It's entirely possible that it was simply bulldozed into a junk pile and discarded away without anyone taking a look at it. Or it's possible that someone thought it was worthless junk in one of the security deposit boxes and no one tried to recover it. My Uncle works at a bank and he told me (I had considered banking as a career) that he's seen people put some weird things into safety boxes before.

i think that no one really "picked through" the debris, and that the body was just scooped by a bulldozer into a dump truck and dumped into the landfill, if anyone noticed it they probably thought it was a mass of twisted metal from the vault door

Could the rest of Cromartie--torso, arms and legs--also have made the trip through time? Or is that too much of a stretch?

no, the body is clearly seen coming from the rubble of the bank

^ I had to rewatch the scene but you can see Cromartie's head fall toward the time bubble and Cromartie's body falls away from it so I don't think it transported through time.

Well, from the looks of things, the series is going to delve deeply into religion. I have, however, found some interesting comparisons.

In Samson & Delilah T-1001 orders the creation of a new division to research the Skynet project. She names it Babylon and deliberately mentions the bible. In the New Testament Babylon represented the most evil city. I wonder if this means that Skynet could see itself as evil.

There is a rumor floating around the Internet that T-1001 is a renegade terminator sent back on her own agenda. Could she be trying to prevent the creation of Skynet or create a different version?

In the episode it was shown that Cyberdyne and CRS are not the source of Skynet as in the films. It is now ZeiraCorp.

Interestingly again Zeira is named after Rav Zeira, a man born in Babylon. His love for the Holy Land led him to decide upon leaving his native country and emigrating to Palestine. This resolve, however, he kept secret from his teacher Judah, who disapproved of any emigration from Babylonia. A favorable dream, in which he was told that his sins had been forgiven, encouraged him to undertake the journey to the Holy Land. He was ordained rabbi, a distinction usually denied to members of the Babylonian school, and though in the beginning he refused this honor (Yer. Bik. 65c), he later accepted it on learning of the atoning powers connected with the dignity. On account of his lofty morals and piety Ze'era was honored with the name "the pious Babylonian." Among his neighbors were several people known for their wickedness, but Ze'era treated them with kindness in order to lead them to moral reformation.

Interesting.

The whore of Babylon rode a 7 headed dragon who seduced the seven kings of the world.

I would think that should be the first dramatis personality to be drawn.

"Babylon has fallen" is from Revelations.

But how can "she" be anymore sincere than when Carl Rove claimed that his Boss just adored Babylon 5, which spun just right would have been a much better line. :)
