Official New Star Trek 2012 Game for the PC, PS3 & X360

^^I was beginning to think it was just me. lol
I'm just weighing the odds that the game is tossed on a Steam sale a week after release that puts the price of the game + the pre-order DLC at less than the pre-order price.

That said, Amazon does have their PC preorders up at $53.99, so spam them with Steam's price so it'll go down. Hopefully, it'll go down from there, although I don't know if the pre-order DLC is included with Amazon's order.

I posted a Tweet from the game's official Twitter account that says the US only gets digital downloads.

Edit: Some news on game publicity:
At this very moment, we're sworn to secrecy on details -- but Star Trek fans of all kind will want to tune into Access Hollywood tonight!

Someone who gets to see it at a decent hour should watch and report (I can't, because it's apparently showing at ~2AM in my area for some reason).

Finally some female Gorn. The are wery pretty.

By the way, how could the Gorn take over the entire Federation? Keep things contained dammit. You don't have to save the galaxy in almost every year.

Well their supposed to have a whole galaxy under their control in this one and some kind of wormhole leading to said galaxy, so they probably have a big ass fleet at their disposal for this kind of thing.

Shouldn't the Gorn look like they did on ENT? I like how the guy said they've only appeared once on Star Trek. Guess they forgot the ENT appearance.

Since ENT is in continuity with the new films, I just find it a little strange that the Gorn suddenly look so different.
Remember what they did to the Klingons in The Motion Picture? It's no different to recasting a character, really. Or making the Enterprise look 2010's futuristic instead of 1960's futuristic.

Amazon (US) has cut game pre-orders down to $44.96. If you're on the bubble about preordering, it might not be a bad idea to preorder through them, get whatever price cuts come around, and cancel if bad reviews come out a week before release. As long as you cancel before release day, you don't get charged.

Why do you need a broadband connection to play the game in single player mode?
It's designed first and foremost as a co-op game, so you'd need the broadband connection to play with a second player, unless the PC version supports splitscreen (which I doubt, but you never know).
