I truly do not understand the over the top admiration for a man who was on screen for less than ten minutes, allowed himself to go over to an enemy vessel probably knowing full well he wouldn't return and then getting stabbed with a really big stick and while all this was going on, instead of ordering his ship to fucking run away, it stays and they are amazed that it opens fire again!
i don't understand it either. it was funny before the film came out adn we saw him, now it's just stupid.
and like i said in the Kelvin novel thread, he should've stuck two fingers up to Nero and opened fire with all weapons and not stopped until the squiddy thing was scrap.

(BTW, Dimesdan...he only got busted in JJ's universe. And even then--we didn't see him die. If the camera had stayed on the Narada, we would have seen the "dying" Robau laugh at Nero and say, "Fool...if I die...I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine!")
