I already got the news about the books. I'm hopeing the books will be released if not this year, maybe after when the sequel is already out. If its released after the sequel, then it shouldnt intefer with the storyline in the new movie. Anyways, I cant wait tell the sequel is out!

I think its a good idea. Cheaper than starting up a new live action series, and it gives us hardcores a bone to gnaw on until the next film comes out. Casual fans will be happy to move on to the next phenomenon and simply wait for Trek 12, but I want more NOW!

They should do a CGI series, in the style of TOS, with intelligent scripts by sci fi writers, with the voice cast of the new film series.
