Oddball Question: Will Jenny ever return or make an appearance?

It's a new day, a new doctor, and a new series...

Will The Doctor's Daughter make a reappearance at some point in time?

Would you hate that idea or could Moffat make it work?

Moffat was able to subtly reboot the entire Doctor Who mythology to the point that the Time Lords of Galifrey could make a reappearance someday... thoughts?

I'd love to see Jenny return...she was a great character and she's certainly out there hopefully following in her father's footsteps. I think Moffat would bring her in if it made sense to and was part of the plot to the series.

After "The Doctor's Daughter", I really wanted her to return during Tennant's era, since they developed a nice chemistry once the Doctor accepted her. I didn't think a reunion between the characters would work with another Doctor, but after seeing Smith for most of his first series, I'd kind of like to see what would happen if Eleven & Jenny crossed paths.

Me personally?

God no! "The Doctor's Daughter" is, by far, the single worst episode of Doctor Who in the history of the series. There is absolutely not one single bit of that episode redeemable by any stretch of the imagination. It's the only episode in my thirty-one years of viewing I switched off halfway through on my first viewing. I finished the rest sometime later after the nausea had passed. Even then, I barely made it past the mega-holy-fuck-what sanctimonious, hypocritical drivel that came out of Tennant's mouth about "the man who never would". I am insulted that complete and utter bullshit was ever even written, let alone filmed.

So, no. Leave any and every trace of it in the past, where history can hopefully forget it.

However, I'm sure others liked it for some reason (?), so if it made them happy, it wouldn't kill me. Doctor Who is, after all, supposed to be a little bit for everyone... :techman:

she ought to return just so we can have more of the hotness of Georgia

Normally I would ask if you had seen the new series or not, but judging from your avatar I will assume you are just mad instead. Is Pond not enough man!?! Get both of them in the tardis and we could well end up blowing a hole in the space time continuum, that may or may not be, the size of a small European country

Yep, THIS! I don't know if I'd call it the worst episode ever (that spot is reserved for "Love and Monsters"), but it's very near the bottom of the heap. I hope she's never mentioned ever again.

Hey. Aside from the grossness of the monster, I loved Love and Monsters. Of course, I also love ELO, so I may be biased.

According to the BBC's podcast following the episode, Jenny's resurrection and subsequent departure into space at the end of the episode was inserted into the script during the rewriting stage at Steven Moffat's request, so it's not entirely out of the question that we might see the character again.

you can never have too many hot chicks

well Amy has Rory so she's ok
and with Jenny if she was gonna be in it, it would be an in and out type thing and she would not stay on the Tardis

Well as one of the .5% of people who actually liked The Doctor's Daughter, I think it'd be interesting if she did come back. I guess the question is whether Moffat asked for her to survive because he had something in mind, or just in case he ever wanted to use her.

Does help that Georgia is extremely hot (but I prefer KAren)

Not my favorite story, but certainly not the worst either. But I really liked Jenny. So yeah, I'd vote for having her back.

Unfortunately isn't Georgia really busy with other projects?
