October Art Challenge -- Great Moments in Trek History

Many thanks for all the votes and the kind words folks! My third win here in 10 months and I'm trying to pull off being the first three-peat SF/F Forum av contest winner... it's been a nice couple of weeks art-wise anyhow.

OK, our theme for this month is "Great Moments in Trek History"... as usual I'll be as broad as possible in interpretation, and I think this has great possibilities for both serious and decidedly not-serious entries. As our Grand Poohbah suggested, I'll also allow looks back into our own history which might have had a hitherto-unsuspected Trek element such as in DS9's "Little Green Men", for example... so be serious or silly, but above all be historic!

...and for the record I don't know what I'll pick myself yet.
