Whoa...this needs to be much smaller! One, so that it can be seen as a whole and the full effect gotten. Two, some of these images are low res and the larger size isn't helping. I'm sure a higher res swastika can be found no prob. And Kirk, Spock and McCoy get progressively blurrier in that order.

I love the concept tho, just needs some tweaking to really take it over the edge!

The poster, Captain Robert April, has submitted his entry
for the October Art Challenge....which is "what if Trek was created in a different time/country"....and he chose a Nazi version of Trek.

Interesting idea though id assume if the Nazi's did do a star Trek the Enterprise wouldnt look like that ^__^

Yeah, but we gotta work with existing material. Also, CRA isn't exactly a Photoshop wiz...he's more into line drawings. This could also just be his first pass at it and will refine it by the end of the month.

Good idea. You might want to move the text, tho - it obscures a lot of the image.

I tried to put another swastika on the side of the secondary hull, but I couldn't get the right distortion on the sucker.

Just ran a translator, and "Enterprise" is a German word as well (pronounced "en-ter-pree-zeh").

Indeed it is, my good man. Check out one of my favorite books to find out how it diverged so sharply from all the other Germanic languages: Our Magnificent Bastard Tongue by John McWhorter (Gotham Books 2008 ISBN 978-1-592-40494-0 in paperback)
