"Obsession" and "Gamesters of Triskelion" Filmed Out of Order?

I can just visualize a future press conference.....
Reporter : "Mr. Cushman, do you have any plans to write a book about 'Dr. Who'?
Cushman : "Who???"
Knowing The Cush like we do it would take him fifty years to write a decent account of Dr.Who and boy would he rake the cash in!

Might be that one or more of the guest actors was unavailable the original planned week for "Gamesters". If you recall TNG, "Unification Part 2" was shot before Part 1 due to Leonard Nimoy's availability. And "Symbiosis" was shot before "Skin Of Evil", in order to include Denise Crosby.
I thought Symbiosis was shot after Skin of Evil? It has a production code of 23 I believe where as Skin is 22! Is that right?

Well, he's covering The Time Tunnel in Vol. 2 of the LIS books and then Voyage is next. Land of the Giants is a logical step for him. 1999 probably not. All of the files he will mis-quote are in the UK. So, fans of shows across the pond need not worry.
Damn, we bought his books to read all his mistakes and mock him - now he thinks he has something important to say. He keeps writing books, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Skin of Evil was aired after Symbiosis, of course.

Can be maddening trying to use filming schedules.

I certainly remember there was more than one show where the "pilot" episode wasn't the first one filmed.
Although I'm sure there are a number of television programs that did not begin production by shooting the first episode intended for broadcast, it makes no sense for a program to film any episodes before an actual pilot.
It doesn't make sense but sometimes the producers have other reasons for filming or completing filming on the pilot after the second or third episode!
