It's a joke that The Simpsons does often but always works. I like the one where they're in Washington D.C. and getting advice on how to pass a bill in Congress from the janitor.

I like the line from the Halloween special where they're on the spaceship being sent into the Sun with all of humanity's refuse aboard, including Tom Arnold (actually voiced by Tom Arnold).

I forget what movie this was, but at a murder scene in Japan, a police captain rattles off several orders to two subordinates. After each order, the subordinates say "hai" (yes). Eventually the captain says,

A long time ago I was flipping channels and I stopped on a German channel called RTL+ and they were showing Terminator 2. It was just when the Connors/Ahnult and Dyson were inside Cyberdyne ready to sneak in. It's not an obscure line per se, since it's Ahnult's trademark. He was about to say: "I'll be back" but in German.
He said: "Ich bin gleich zurück"
And that line literally killed me!
