Obscene T-Shirts: yay or nay?

What are your thoughts on dirty T-shirts? You know, things like this? Do you regularly, or at any time, wear shirts like this in public? If you do wear them, do people give you grief?

I mean, I would never wear that particular shirt in Boston - I have this thing about not wanting to get my ass kicked. But I bought it specifically for my upcoming trip - to New York.

Not a big fan of obscene shirts. Well if its actually funny or clever, I'm happy to cut it some slack.

I don't mind them, if you go to cafepress.com you can custom make your own which is perfect if you're wittier than others.

I don't mind them if they're actually funny, one's that are just swearing/offensive for the sake of it, I'm less of a fan of. Particularly the kids who think they're being rebellious by wearing a hoodie saying FUCK YOU or similar. That's just sad.

I have a shirt that says Kiss Me I'm Shitfaced that I got at a Dropkick Murphys show...since it's green with shamrocks I generally only wear it on St Patrick's Day. I don't care if people wear 'obscene' shirts. If people can't handle swearing, that's their own problem. And if little kids are old enough to read it, they can ask their parents about it. I'm sure they've probably heard them already anyway.

I wore a t-shirt in Jr High that had a small "Oh Shit" in the upper corner. My vice principle told me to go home and remove it and I refused. I cited the 1st amendment and went to my next class.
