Nope, Valin Halcyon was the name Corran's father Hal Horn was born with. Corran's grandfather was Nejaa Halcyon, a Jedi who had Valin with his secret wife Scerra and passed their child off as his Padawan. After the purge, Nejaa was killed and Scerra married Rostek Horn, who adopted Valin. Keiran was an ancestor who was a Jedi some 400 years prior.
He literally says it. "Your suffering is just beginning."I haven't read the whole thread, but did some one work out why Vader just stood there and let the droid rescue Obi-Wan?
And he doesn't.I get the desire to have Hayden involved and I'm not opposed to it, but the guy just isn't buff enough to fill out the Vader suit, and suited-up Vader doesn't use his voice, either. They need to start putting someone tall, with some muscle in the Vader suit. Hayden can do the unmasked / unsuited stuff.
Of course we are. It's already been part of tearing ROTS apart is Hayden's lack of striking the same style as Prowse by crossing his arms. We're not going to be doing transparent overlays to compare original and Hayden's physiques as Vader like was done for the Enterprises, are we?
I think the reason it's so weirdly convoluted has to do with the character predating the prequels, and the assumption back then was that Anakin was closer in age to Ben, and that the whole clone wars/purge thing happened way earlier, so Corran being the grandson of a Jedi felt more sensible. Then the Prequels arrived and the EU started frantically retconning itself to make it all still fit. Could be mistaken though.Okay, that's it. Thanks. I just wasn't able to dredge all that up.

I assumed as much. There's like two different stunt specialists plus a stand-in that plays Dyn in addition to Pedro Pascal, so I can't see any good reason why they wouldn't take the same approach here.Hayden isn't in the suit for full body shots

So that‘s where Kylo got it from. How much of a shock would he have at this point that Padme and his daughter is alive when as far as he knows, Padme died, as did the child (he didn't know he had twins until just before he died).
And that is on top of Obi-wan being found and having hid Anakin's daughter.
In the comics, he nearly destroyed the viewport of his Star Destroyer just by Boba Fett telling him the name of the rebel that destroyed Death Star, Skywalker.
I dunno, isn't this supposed to be a younger Vader than we're used to? He still has about another decade or so to gain more weight, IMO. Right now, he probably still has Anakin Skywalker's physique.
Part 3 of Kenobi says otherwise. We saw that most of his limbs are cybernetic, but they were attached to a flesh and blood torso.Which would barely make a difference - in universe, Vader's "physique" is mostly cybernetic.

I am curious as to how the writers will deal with the Grand Inquisitor situation.
