“There is another.” ( And I guess black-looking actress in the above actually means black-looking character, thus excluding black actresses playing aliens. )
Congratulations to the winners at the 47th Saturn Awards: *"Obi-Wan Kenobi" - Best Limited Event Television Series *Moses Ingram - Best Supporting Actress in Streaming *Hayden Christensen - Best Guest-Starring Performance
It's a little scary how much their Obi-Wan actually sounds like Ewan McGregor. Like usual, even though I enjoyed the show, I will admit they do bring up some good points.
Even if this fan edit turns out terrible, the fact that some nobody on YouTube can fix the Grand Inquisitor on his home computer should make some people over at Lucasfilm scratch their heads.
He isn’t some nobody. He is a professional VFX artist who actually worked on Andor. I watched the Pattison Cut the other day. I really like how he did the beginning with the Obi Wan/Anakin training fight. Wasn’t the biggest fan of changing the music though. I thought the score for Kenobi was fine.
I mean specifically the music at the end when he was facing Vader. I thought it was a pretty good tune.
I like The Mandalorian and Andor more than I like Obi-Wan but this is my favorite theme music of the three and of all the live-action series.
Anyone with even open source photo and video editing software can squish a character's head for three seconds of footage in which they hardly move. Good luck modelling, tracking, rotoing, and comping that in every scene he's in , walking, delivering dialogue, and performing action that'll hold up at 8K without it looking like someone tried to deep fake on top of a very pale melon with an instagram filter.
Elevator music is supposed to be background noise and a bit soothing. Obi-Wan soundtrack is far from that.
