I don't think Luke met Obi-Wan, he just knew of him.
Owen lies to Luke in ANH saying Obi-Wan died around the same time as Anakin.

But Luke is talking about Old Ben Kenobi, who as far as he knows is a completely different, and alive, person.

"There's a sale on power converters"I interpreted it as Obi-Wan and Luke were casually acquainted, but didn't know each other formally. Likely they bumped into each other occasionally at Tosche Station and might have said the occasional "Hello Luke" "Hey Ben" as they passed each other.

Young Luke casting announcement in....That's kind of how I interpreted it as well. Kenobi is the kind but weird old guy up the street who keeps to himself. I like to imagine Obi-Wan is kind of torn on Luke, always strangely on hand when Luke might need him and seeming like he'd be willing to open up to the kid, but then suddenly distancing himself from him without any comment or explanation.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I could definitely see that happening.I would imagine that's the case. In ANH, Obi Wan mentions that at one point he wanted Luke to have Vader's light saber but that his uncle wouldn't allow it. I'm guessing that Obi Wan wants to start Luke's training, but Owen won't allow it.. So maybe we'll get that exchange.
Interesting.
Someone posted a Tik Tok video of a drive through the Obi-Wan Kenobi set, and it also made it's way to Twitter.
None of what we see really stands out, beyond just looking like our standard Tatooine buildings.
The Sixth Brother featured in the novel Ahsoka. I don't know if any of them have shown up in any short stories.
As far as I can tell, we're still yet to have seen a First, Third, or Fourth Sister/Brother among the Inquisitors (assuming the Grand Inquisitor is his own thing and isn't included among the numbered Inquisitors) so if one shows up in Obi-Wan Kenobi they'll presumably be one of those.
OK, I haven't read that one yet, but I do own it.The Sixth Brother featured in the novel Ahsoka. I don't know if any of them have shown up in any short stories.
You had me excited for a sec.........
