NX-class Picture Thread

Though I have mixed feelings about ENT (though I did like some episodes), I thought the NX-class looked sweet. Post some images here :bolian:

Nice idea. :bolian:

Though in the beginning I would have liked to see a Deadalus-Class ship, I really have come to love the NX design. Here are my favorite pics of the Enterprise ...

A beautiful shot from "Singularity".

I love this shot: The NX-01 boldly entering the Delphic Expanse (from "The Expanse").

And the final shot of our beloved ship :( (from "These Are The Voyages ...").

As we all know I adore this ship. :D And any chance to get to talk about her is a privilege for me.

I love this shot. It is gorgeous.

And this one is a favorite moment in the series for me. Will they survive?

She never looked better with a nebula as the perfect accessory.

And seeing the NX as part of a fleet makes me smile!

It really is a pretty ship, I admit it did grow on me over time. I prefer the NX-02's coloring and deflector dish, though.

What do you guys use to make all these cool screencaps? I'd love to make some of my own. Well that look nice anyways. The ones I make come out not so good.

@ Jack Bauer: In this case I just browsed through the screencaps collection at TrekCore.com, pulled the pics into Photoshop™ (to resize them and change the contrast a bit) and finally uploaded them to a file sharing site of your choice (I usually prefer TinyPic.com).

But if you want to do screencaps on your own, you got to use a DVD program (I use PowerDVD™) and its inbuilt screencap application. But then I'll have to polish them in Photoshop™, too. But I'm sure there are other ways as well! :D

I always loved this artwork from Lightwave. An untold story from the TCW perhaps.

From "In A Mirror, Darkly", anytime an NX class appeared alongside the Defiant (the Connie) I'd smile. I never bought into the critism that the NX looked more advanced than subsequent eras. Not seeking to divert the purpose of this thread, for showing off pics... To my mind the minimalist, sleek (even gleaming white) hulls of TOS vessels denoted how advanced they were. Admittedly it's a point better illustrated by TOS-R's effects.

I think so too see my first pic. ^^^ The NX-01 was a little too brown for me.

Jack, try Memory Alpha or google it for pictures.

Agreed, Christopher Pike. Gene Roddenbury said that in the future it would be so streamlined that it looked simple. The NX-class 22nd century was more industrial and building up to that.

I thought the NX-01 looked great all four seasons. I miss her and the show.. :(

I have always thought it was a great design. All that complaining about the Akira class was just noise to me, and I think the NX-01 looks better anyway.

The Art Asylum NX-01 is a great replica, btw, for a very low price!

I have the Bandai model but I would love to have the Polar Lights version. It is huge! But I don't have time to do models anymore. I also don't have the patience. :(

And I have more pictures to post but I will have to do it later.
