I have to say looks great. Anymore of the Columbia? I sure miss seeing the NX 01 sometimes. Lucky I have the whole series on DVD or can watch it on SciFi Mondays.

And I miss her too. But to be honest I have forged this very intimate bond with the NX-01 now. I can see her swoop across the screen and get chills. I have thought about her so much in the last year and half that I am not surprised though. I think I have put more time and thought into her hull plates and duranium bones than I would a lover. Actually that scares me a little...

The nx has always been one of my favorite ships. These pictures really show the beauty of her design. Yes she looks a like the Akira, but the nx is vastly improved. The rear shots that show off the nacelles and struts really show the perfect the angles and curves of her design.
I was looking at old threads before they got pruned, and I found these great pictures of the NX-01. I thought I'd add a shot from E2...

I never really bought into the criticism that it looked more advanced than Kirk's ship; in fact, if you look at the Defiant from IAMD, it looks much more sleeker than the NX-01. By the way, I have the polar lights model of the NX-01. It's pretty neat!
