I've generally let the participants of this thread self-police, and that's mostly worked out pretty well. However, it has come to my attention that a small number of posters have been going way overboard with post volume in a number of 5-word, 7-word and other community game threads.
The policy for such threads in the Lounges calls for each poster to voluntarily limit themselves to posting no more than five times in a given thread per 24-hour period, and that seems reasonable enough. But it's not what's been happening lately in these game threads.
Proposition: If participants can see to it that the five posts, per day, per thread policy is voluntarily adhered to, then I think we're good, and there'll be no need for further involvement in this thread by forum moderators. If that can't be worked out, then we may be looking at the end of games threads for a while.

I'll leave the thread closed for a little bit longer so that the announcement can be seen by all before it scrolls off into oblivion, and then I'll re-open.

^I wasn't aware of any of this, but I am now, so I will limit myself to ten meaningful posts a day, and by that I mean ten posts a day total.
