On IMAX,movie trip #5 ,I picked up some extra little tidbits.
The Enterprise,at least on acceleration,is capable of Warp 7 at least judging by the speedo at the top of the windshield/screen.
Another reference of the window speedo shows crusing speed of warp 4.5 during the Checkov/age scene.
Nurse Chapel is assigned to the Enterprise.
And the new ship has 5 warp cores, only three are shown ejecting but 5 are seen going toward the black hole from several angles.
You also see the Enterprise in orbit fly above Spocks head right after he beams down to Vulcan for the last time.
And Countdown (the comic)messed up big time...it says the Romulan facial markings/tatoos are a Romulan custom for 'mourning',but Neros wife has them in the hologram cutscene with Pike, smiling in the recording...obviously she's not mourning her own death.
Yeesh, its crazy how I'm seeing new things...and its the 5th TIME watching it,and my second in IMAX.You guys find any other juicy tidbits?
