Hey, long time no post. Has anyone seen or heard when the Model for the JJ-prise is to be relased? If it already has were can I order it. Thanks.

Well, as far as I know, Polar Lights who has the current Star Trek License to produce model kits has no plans to produce a "JJ-prise at this time. There having a hard enough time trying to break even with the Star Trek kits that they are currently producing. However, Quantum Mechanix is planning to release a fully assembled and lighted model of the ship in the near future. Expect the pricing to be in the low to mid $1,000.00 range.

Gah! That's a Little Expensive don't ya think? Seriously though I was hoping for a model I could build myself.
Well, there are rumors (and photos!) of a possible model from polar lights... so it might be possible, soon. The closest thing for now is going to be the playmates' toy... and I know some guys are already taking those apart, and rebuilding them.
