Now that was weird..

^^ Whoa, that's scary. You should stick to exploding soft drinks like the rest of us.

This is by far the most entertaining winter story I've read in a long time -perhaps ever.

I once had a tube of biscuits explode while on top of the stove. I had the oven on to preheat it, and apparently the top of the range gets a bit toasty as well...

That's what I thought. Of course, if the original post wrote soda instead, there wouldn't be this problem ;)
I would have said "tonic" and nobody would have known what I was talking about. I can't bring myself to say "pop." Just sounds way too stupid. And "soda" makes me think of:

I currently live in Oregon and my good buddy from school and my Health teacher both call it pop. Other than that it's still soda.
