Contest: ENTER November 2017 Art Challenge — “Let's See Your OC!”

Okay, I hope this idea is something for you guys. With a lot of these contest themes I really try to challenge myself and choose something I personally have never really done before. Well, this is one of these things I always wanted to try and I hope you do as well, because: This month I would like to meet your OC (original character)!

So here's the challenge: Invent your very own original Star Trek character and present it in whatever way you wish.

Maybe you make up a little backstory for your character. Where does your OC live in the Star Trek universe? How does it look? Maybe draw a traditional character sheet or whip up a photomanip of the actor/actress you would like to see portray your character or do it complete as a CG render of your OC in action or or or …

There are only two conditions: (1.) It has to be a completely original character never before seen or heard of on the shows. And (2.), please give us the name, species, gender and age of your OC on the entry itself.

I've had a couple of ideas that I've been keeping back for something like this - they'll fit this theme nicely. Now, I just need to do something about them

They gave the Aboriginals instructions and knowledge about our galaxy, and how to travel mentaly through vibrations/sound as a way to reach destinations many lightyears away.

The Aboriginals figurative art painted on rocks and in caves is the way in which they have represented the Wandjinas - white faces, devoid of a mouth, large black eyes, and a head surrounded by a halo or some type of helmet.

– the Wandjina were “sky-beings” or “spirits from the clouds” who came down from the Milky Way during Dreamtime.

Finally managed to finish this tonight …

Meet Lieutenant Pol, the young daughter of Ferengi barkeeper Quark and Vulcan ex-Maquis Sakonna. Like her cousin once she joined Starfleet and serves as a technician aboard the USS Malala. As a hybrid she used to have trouble fitting in — Vulcans can't accept her Ferengi half and Ferengi society shuns her because she doesn't conform to their traditions. On the Malala though she has finally found friends and a place in the universe she can call her own …

@Michael - I love the expression on Pol's face. Happy, but kind of wistful - she misses her parents (who I hope are still alive - a career in Starfleet seems to be only for those who have lost one/both/all parents).
