Novel-Only Characters Artwork?

Has there ever been an attempt to depict visually any of the TrekLit-only characters in any form that could be considered 'official'? Some of them have been around long enough that I have a very solid mental image of them whenever I read but some are new enough and for one reason or another didn't ever get a memorable description that it would be interesting for me to see what their authors or publishers thought they "should" look like. Half the new Enterprise-E crew are novel-only, and of course a portion of Titan's crew.

Among those depicted, several novel only characters appear on the Mission Gamma novels from 14 or so years ago for DS9, the crew of Titan appear in the mini comic series Hive and I believe numerous New Frontier novels have novel only characters on their covers.

Plus, the German versions of the novels have at times featured novel characters on the covers.

There has also been one or two New Frontier comic books and some, but not all, of the Wildstorm comics fit into the novel verse. For example, Divided We Fall, takes place sometime in 2376, after the events of Avatar, and features Elias Vaughn and Thirishar ch'Thane. While Nanietta Bacco does not make an appearance, the Gorn attack on Cestus III that took place before she became governor is depicted.

Book 5 & 6 Of New Frontier were a double cover showing the Excalibur crew.

Plus pictures of the young New Frontier crew (McHenry, Kenton, Soleta & Tobias) appear on the cover of “Line Of Fire” and within “Worf’s First Adventure”, “Line Of Fire”, & “Survivor from the TNG: SA series.

Memory Beta has some fan-made photo-manipulations of some characters. While they're unofficial, IIRC, they can only be posted if an author or editor says they look about right.

The only character introduced in the novels who appears in the Titan scene in Hive is Christine Vale. They show her, Riker, maybe Deanna, Tuvok, and at least one other character in either the con or ops chair who doesn't match up with anyone from the novels.

A number of the older novels featured novel-only characters on their covers, such as Selar’s adopted Andorian daughter on “Eyes Of The Beholders”.

I read it fairly recently, so it's still fresh in my mind. I was disappointed they went with some random guy in the front seat rather than Lavena or Rager. We already got Tuvok and Vale, so I don't see why they couldn't have included which ever one of them was appropriate too.
