In the final shot of the enterprise during Nimoy's ending voice over,the actual warp deflector 'unfolds' from behind a shield.Pretty neat detail,one of those things that makes sense and should have been added when Trek first came out....

Keep a lookout for it at the end next time you see the movie.I was in an actual IMAX show and was sitting to the far right,so I got a nice look at the action.

I thought that's what I saw in the theatre. I wasn't sure. Now I know I'm not seeing things anyway.

Jeez,in IMAX it wasn't all that noticeable-in regular screen its *very* easy to miss.

A cool touch.And it just makes sense that something as vital as the deflector dish is physically stowed until warp.I also liked the 3 nacelled Miranda.
