Not the Enterprise on Hulu

Check out the Klingon ship on the cover of this release of the first six Star Trek films on Blu-ray and then look at this.

Neil

It would be a wonderful world if graphic designer stopped meaning someone who picks from the first ten image results on google that look interesting. That isn't a jab at all graphic designers, nor most. I went to college for said field. I still know my way around photoshop, as my present avatar attests to. I understand what goes into this. It is, however, a jab at those people who keep doing that bad habit time and again, and make the rest of the people in the field look bad. There's obviously no research done. It's also taking and using an image which does not actually legally belong to the client on whose behalf those designers are working, regardless of the franchise itself belonging to the client. So it is disregard for copyright and licensing. It is transparently a matter that they found an image on google and nicked it in the space of about five seconds of consideration. And it isn't just Star Trek. A lot of IPs have had this issue pop up. It is the bane of the digital age.
