TNG movies Enterprise-E sound effects

Did you notice that they widely use the sound effects of computer inputs and reactions, as well as weapon effects like phasers and alerts, from the TNG movies with the Enterprise-E? I guess this was done because these sounds just sound very cool. In terms of continuity, though, it's an unusual choice for a TOS prequel.

Well, how should I say, I haven't looked at Discovery that extensively. But it doesn't surprise me, given the brilliant idea of the turbolifts.;)

I mean, TNG era sound effect and alarm sounds were heard being used in the 22nd century in Enterprise, so in continuity, those sounds are already a hundred years old in SNW.

Some of them were always reused - yes. In general, the reuse of production assets over different eras is common, if only for economic reasons. But for the Enterprise-E movies (or maybe Voyager already), they created a new set of very characteristic input beeps, which represented a modernized evolution of the Enterprise D era sounds. That's why it feels a bit strange to me to hear these sounds now in SNW.
