The original theme worked well where it was located: at the end credits. Not only do I not think that it would have really worked well as the main theme of the movie, but I thought Enterprising Young Men was an incredible main theme. It's easily my favorite music from the whole movie. Drop little bits of Courage in here and there in the next movie, but either use EYM or something new.
