nominate characters for Marvel movies!

Actually, has anybody nominated Shang Chi yet? That was an incredible book.

Yeah, especially the Moench/Gulacy era.
Actually, I think the Moench Era was great, right up until the end. :D

You'd probably have to edit Fu Manchu out, though, to avoid problems with the Rohmer estate. I don't believe Fu is public domain yet.
I think that's true. In later years, Marvel seemed to retcon Fu Manchu out of it because they had lost the license. But it would be easy enough to create another evil mastermind. There were Fu Manchu clones around at the time of the original stories, like Wu Fang, and, as somebody else said, Mandarin is a Fu Manchu clone owned by Marvel.

Recently, in Secret Avengers, they did an arc about Shang-Chi and his father without ever using the name "Fu Manchu". They did however reveal that he has used many different names in his long life, and they did reveal what his birth name was, and refered to him by that name from then on. A movie could go a similar route.

There is the Yellow Claw as well....okay, maybe not.

Shit, dudes, I'm about to blow your minds. There's somebody we all forgot. But we won't even need a poll:

Miracleman.

Bonus points: it would make Alan Moore's beard spontaneously combust from bitterness.

He's back to being called Marvelman now.

Well, he'd be.

I always thought "Miracleman" sounded prettier. And my copies say Miracleman.

Anyway, c'mon, what American filmgoer wouldn't want to see a graphically depicted live childbirth unfold in 3D?

<raises hand frantically>

Werewolf by Night
Play up the gypsy angle on the travelling foreigner.

Frankly it should be an easy sell In our Vamp/Werewolf crazed entertainment pop culture.

I'd like a number of Marvels horror properties: The Living Mummy anyone?

I haven't read any of his comics yet so I don't know if his stories are any good, but I love Greek mythology, so I would be up for a Hercules movie. Or would that be too close to Thor?
