nominate characters for Marvel movies!

Rick Jones the Movie. Yeah you know you want it.

Anyway

Doctor Doom (the ultimate anti-hero)
Deathlok
Howard the Duck
Rom the Space Knight.

^^ If it's the version with the safari jacket and the cheaters. :mallory:

He's not Marvel, but I'd love to see a Groo movie-- especially if it was animated in the Aragones style. :bolian:
He was published under their EPIC line for a time.
I know, but he's still owned by Sergio and Mark, so he's not part of the Marvel Universe.

A 2099 movie is a good thought. I loved those books, mostly.

For that matter, an M2 movie would be good. I loved those, also.

how about Avengers: The Initiative but as a story set outside of the Civil War story, just as a superhero boot camp run by the government/military with superhero teachers, and the recruits get sent out on their first mission.

I'd like to see the Falcon appear first in a Cap movie and then spun off into his own. His origin is tied to Captain America. (Though they can axe the "Snap" Wilson BS)

Wonder Man works better as a foe of the Avengers who reforms on his deathbed. (To be resurrected in a later sequel, then maybe his own film)

A Defenders film could be fun if they use the "classic" line up: Dr Strange, the Hulk, Sub-mariner, Nighthawk and Valkyrie. (Maybe Silver Surfer too) Avengers-Defenders War was a great story.

Power Man and Iron Fist. A super hero buddy flick. Sweet Christmas! Thats gotta be money in the bank!!!! Set in the 70s so Luke can have the 'fro, headband and butterfly collar.

A Howard the Duck remake would be great.

I was looking at the latest Iron First series yesterday and I got to thinking that it is kinda shocking that Marve didn't make an IF movie during the post-Crouching Tiger martial arts craze back in the early '00s.

Actually, has anybody nominated Shang Chi yet? That was an incredible book.

Yeah, especially the Moench/Gulacy era.

You'd probably have to edit Fu Manchu out, though, to avoid problems with the Rohmer estate. I don't believe Fu is public domain yet.

Shang Chi, Iron Fist, Moon Knight, Daredevil, Doctor Strange and Luke Cage together in "Knights" against THE KINGPIN!

with Elektra and Black Cat. adapted from the Ultimate Spidey Warriors and Knights arcs. just replace Spidey with Luke Cage.

Shit. Why dontcha just raise Bruce Lee and Jason Scott Lee from the dead, just to cover all the bases?

The above would be THE AWESOMENESS!

Funny thing about Rick Jones (as somebody suggested), is that he's never been used in any live-action Hulk property, although I believe he's been in every Hulk TV cartoon. Jim Wilson-one of Hulk's other sidekicks-had a cameo in the second film, but no Rick apart from a brief name on a report at the beginning montage. Maybe the Del Toro series will change that?

Well they could use the Mandarin (Nothing is stopping Marvel from re-using villians) or Fing Fang Foom for the win. :techman:

One more suggestion:

I don't know how they could do it without introducing Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil, but I love the idea of Thunderbolts. Just the thought that former villains decide to pretend to be good guys and find out they like it sounds interesting.
