"Nomad" Prop reused in Sickbay?

TNG Also. There's a ton of reused props and spaceship models throughout the franchise.

A lot of those props were rented from a company called Modern Props, and can be seen in countless SF shows and films from the '80s and '90s. Some of the computer consoles seen in engineering in TWOK were also seen in William Shatner's Moonbase scenes in Airplane 2: The Sequel, and I've seen them in many other TV shows -- The Incredible Hulk's "Prometheus" and V: The Final Battle are two examples I remember offhand. Since I first associated those console props with TWOK, and since they kept coming back over and over, I came to refer to them in my own mind as "The Wrath-of-Khansoles."

And this was going on before Star Trek, of course. Notably there are the Burroughs 205 computer consoles, actual computer components that showed up everywhere in Irwin Allen's shows, Batman '66, and elsewhere.

Part of 'NOMAD' was also reused for the Rumulan Cloaking Device in TOS - "The Enterprise Incident":

I think that what people might be confusing is that a set piece from Sick Bay (well, the Sick Bay Lab set) was indeed used on a super-powerful hovering robot--but the robot was Flint's M-4 robot.

You can see the big metal ball part in Sick Bay.

To further confuse things, part of Nomad was used on th M-4 robot.View attachment 2991View attachment 2992
It looks like this was Greg's final contribution to TrekBBS.com. :( Thanks for all of the great contributions, Greg. RIP.

What has happened? I really hope this is not bad news. I hope this site is not losing moderators on other important people. I like this site a lot!

Sadly, Greg Schnitzer, admin in the Fan Productions forum, and a producer on the fan film series Star Trek: New Voyages, passed away last month after struggling with health issues for a long time.

This was the official announcement:

And there is a discussion thread about it in the Fan Productions forum:

What will this mean for the Fan Productions area? I am really into Fan production and I would love to make something myself. Anyway I am very thankful for what he did and I am happy he got this done before he passed away. RIP and LLAP. And to return to the topic on here, I must say I watched TNG: "Attached" and recogniced the Ferengi's "Head-ache-device" prop in a scene
