how does having superstrength allow you to jump really high? Ive never understood that(Hulk does it too.)
Well, at least they show what happens when he launches himself.
As one SF editor used to say, "It's fine to have a man leap tall buildings in a single bound, but, if you're writing SF, you'd better explain why he doesn't kick a hole in the sidewalk every time he does it."

Which I'm not entirely sure makes any sense. It wouldn't take that much energy to launch a 200lb man a few hundred feet in the air, certainly not more energy than can be sustained by the concrete.

Well, the next episode is supposed to deal with someone seeing the Father. So it seems like they're doing well to address the problems of trying to be a vigilante. Deconstruction without being Grimdark.

Good episode, though the formulaic titling is limiting the chance for better titles. Rather ironic as the ring seemed rather ordinary. They certainly didn't describe that it was more special than any other rings, as the robbers just wanted wedding rings.

Wow, increeeeedibly boring. I'm just about done with this show. I'll give it one last shot to see how JJ's football stint works out.

I voted average. I liked the family interraction, but the plot was a real eye-roller.

I did think it was poorly handled how Jim threw the guy off the roof with no regard for where he landed. And for him to land on a cop car, crack the window, and not even get a scratch seemed a bit too unrealistic even for a show about a superpowered family.

Yeah, that took me right out of it. I stood up for the show with last week's murder, but that casual creep throw was either ridiculously cartoony logic, or Jim really meant to throw him to his death. Either way, I didn't like it.

Clearly the robber who Jim tossed to his death has his own invincibility superpower and will show up in the future seeking revenge. :)
