No one listens to Worf

Yeah, when you watch a lot of TNG eps it a row, it's really obvious how Worf is used as the foil to highlight what the "bad"/aggressive option would be in any given situation. The funnier thing is that because that's the way the scripts are structured, Worf is almost never right anyway. So along with losing almost every physical battle he's in, he also has dreadful judgement. 
Towards the end of TNG, and especially into DS9, things got a bit better because they restructured his role in the ensemble.

No wonder the poor sod is cranky.
This is hilarious! I think I would have quit if I were Worf, LOL. Whats the point in making someone a senior officer if youre never going to listen to them? And there were quite a few times when Worf ended up being right. Several episodes would have been just five minutes long had they listened to him.

Yes I re-watched Samaritan Snare last night and noted how Worf was absolutely 100% right and Riker just ignored him.... Worf also warned about messing around near Nagilums hole but again... tsk tsk
Riker wised up in the end and recommended Wesley steer clear of any holes

If Worf would do a Klingon yell like he did in one or two of the episodes I remember, people might listen more often.
My question is was there ever a time when they did actually listen to worf? I don't remember, but it must of been rare.
Well, to be far in that clip there were one or two times where the "No" was followed by a "but..." that went on into agreeing with him. "The Gambit" scene, for example, happened when Worf suggested stopping a Klingon shuttle for a "healthy and safety" inspection which Data first said that they couldn't do because they had no cause to do so but then followed up this "no" by doing it anyway. It should also go without saying that Picard showed tremendous lee-way and compromise with Worf when it came to his dis-commendation.
But, yeah, there were plenty of times where listening to Worf would have probably led to better things happening.

I agree that Worf is often used as a foil to highlight the alternative choice not taken, but there are also plenty of instances where his suggestions are followed. The video makes quite a few mistakes and puts in things that really aren't "crapping" on Worf. Nevertheless, lots of good segments in it.
There are a couple times in that montage where Worf turned out to be right, though. On a couple occasions (with the Pakleds, Crusher and terrorists, Picard on Risa) where, if the crew listened to Worf, there'd be no episode because everybody would be safe
But the thing that really irks me is how much the guest stars keep overruling Worf, from non-Federation to simple passengers. Nobody takes him seriously, and you have to wonder how he ever manages to secure a promotion when nobody values his opinions!
Poor Worf. I think they only really started taking him seriously in Seasons 6 and 7. There were glimmers of that previously in the Klingon-oriented episodes a little bit.
Worf suffered from the idea the humans were supposed to be "Perfect", so the poor bugger is the only one who's allowed to be wrong on a regular basis (of the other non-humans, Data being wrong regularly would be pushing it with his super brain and we're not meant to be focusing on Troi's opinions).
