No Hulu For U.K

Bob The Skutter

Complete Arse Cleft
In Memoriam
Looks like Hulu are shelving their plans for a UK version, due to lack of interest from British broadcasters. ITV want people to use their own portal, while the others aren't interested in exclusive deals since they are already in non-exclusive deals with either SeeSaw, MSN or YouTube.

SeeSaw are talking about doing just that, it is going to be a subscription service though, and by the looks of the questionnaire they had it looks to be something like £5 per month per genre for unlimited shows but they will be on rotation rather than always there.

If there is not a long wait between US air date and the see saw date that is something I would be interested in.

Wamdue, The point, I suppose, is so they can get rights to shows they otherwise wouldn't be able to get, to have an exclusivity window, or to run it like a catch up service but with shows from US channels rather than UK ones.

STK, yeah same here. I did say on the questionnaire that I thought it was important that it was on SeeSaw as soon as possible after airing in America.
The questionnaire is here for anyone interested in taking it...
