No Falling Skies or Eureka - What to watch?

If you are dying to watch some Scifi NOW, why not try an older show you missed the first time around?

This seems a bit easier. I'm hard pressed to name many good current sci-fi shows (only one I've regularly still running series I've watched is Falling Skies, which.. see title). There are things I want to see - Continuum, most likely - but that's kind of dependent on the if and when they air on UK TV.

Anyway I enjoyed Charlie Jade, which is a nice, relatively short and relatively recent series that it's quite possible you haven't seen. I also rather liked Terra Nova, although I don't think that view is very common.
I just started Charlie Jade this weekend, I'm 5 episodes into it, and really enjoying it, and from what I've been told, it doesn't start getting good until after 5 or 6 episodes, so, I'm really looking forward to moving forward with it, since I'm already really enjoying it.

Probably going to start on Earth:Final Conflict next, since I never saw more than a few minutes of a few episodes, so, it'll all be new to me

I assume you were all joking about Doctor Who.
I have every episode ever made. Of course, some of them are the LC recons but still got them all.

What is Survivors like (the re-make)?
I saw the first episode but never got around to watching the rest.

The remake of Survivors is excellent but it only had two seasons before being cancelled. Hubby and I both loved it.

Did it have a kind of satisfying conclusion? I watched S1, but, missed the last episode of S1, and saw an ep or 2 of S2 (BBCA switched nights to Tuesday and On Demand dropped BBCA, so I missed about half of the Series overall :( ). I've been planning to go to back to it some point, as I did quite like what I saw.

*Fortunately for Doctor Who, appparently BBCA has been put back On Demand (At least last I checked). I'm not going to trust it though, I'm going to tape on VHS as a back up, in case they screw me again

Season 2 of Survivors is awesome and the big questions about the virus are answered but the overall story is left unresolved.

Unforgivably resolved.

I have the original Survivor.

I do keep meaning to watch it, but there's so much on my plate.

As I recall, it ends with everybody but Richard Hatch being voted off the island . . . .

Wait. You don't mean that SURVIVOR?

No, don't be ridiculous.

The original survivor is Gloria Gayor who is from outter space and probably faught Cylons back to back with an altogether different Richard Hatch.
