Niners Unite...around Babylon 5! - The Lost Threads

Yeah, he's bad. But you also have to consider his upbringing in the corps. Totally warped.

This episode does a good job of giving the faithful a different look, a different focus from what we're used to seeing. That makes it a somewhat divisive episode when people list the best or "favorite" episodes.

Bester really cares for his poeple. Trouble is, that's *all* he cares about.

I always thought this was one of the most interesting things about Bester!
Much of that probably came about because "normals" seemed to care only about them-selves, and not much about the telepaths

A lot of people don't like the off-format episodes. I like it when the point of view gets turned sideways.

So Gordon says the suicides were committed by people who'd left the Corps. Ever wonder how many of those were "assisted" or were because of the sleeper drugs? What other telepath of significance do we know killed themself? ;)

Good point, Neroon. And according to the novels that's exactly what happened to cause the Corps to be formed.

Incidentally, according the "The Lurker's Guide"....

LOL! B5 was in the days before pretty much everybody had personal 'communicators'.
