I feel uneasy about this specific proposal. I love the idea in general of the museum honoring him. It's a museum of science, not science fiction, and while Soock may be his most famous work, his work for the museum had nothing to do with that, other than it gave him the platform and the resources to contribute in various ways.
If not already present, there should be a memorial space for prominent donors of which he should be a part, not a giant LLAP statue.
