He gets a lot of flack for starring in a lot of big, dumb, blockbusters, but I can forgive him for just about anything because of how much I love his performance in "Adaptation" and some of my favourite fun action movies from childhood ("The Rock", "Con Air", and "Face/Off").
He seems to have followed that trend of a leading man in smaller, sometimes quirky movies that scores a major hit in a big blockbuster and suddenly starts receiving these big paycheck offers from types of movies he's never been offered before. But unlike Tommy Lee Jones or Charlie Sheen, I haven't felt like any of Cage's bad movies were done for the paycheck.
