Nicholas Brendon in trouble. Again

Shaka Zulu

Nicholas Brendon has found himself in handcuffs yet again.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor was arrested Monday on suspicion of grand theft and criminal mischief, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Brendon was arrested around 7 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Flo., where he was appearing at a comic book convention.

According to TMZ, he reportedly was intoxicated and trashed his hotel room before falling asleep in a hotel employee's office, and in refusing to pay $450 worth of hotel room damages and approximately $380 in food and beverage purchases, he was also charged with grand theft.

Brendon was also recently arrested in October, during Tree City Comic Con in Boise. He was arrested for "malicious injury to property," and was reportedly charged with two misdemeanors, including resisting and obstructing officers.

Nicholas Brendon in trouble. Again

When is he going to get it together?

This is light weight.

$450 is the problems a normal person has.

That's what his lawyer will charge him per hour to clean up this shit.

The hotel is an asshole.

You charge him and then assign debt collections who then send the bailiff around to collect assets.

Immediate jail and a press release?

Fuck you.

If I was Nicholas, I would pay people thousands to smear shit all over their Hotel.

When you break into someone's office to use as a bed, you are either not in control, or hilarious on many levels.

This is my thinking on Alcohol.

If you're not going to get drunk, you are wasting your money.

It's like buying plane tickets for a plane you're not going to take.

It's unfortunate that he has gone downhill in his life. Xander was such a funny character.

Happens to many people who peaked young and only went downhill from there.

Few of the Buffy cast actually managed a good career afterwards.. most prominent would be Alysson Hannigan with How i met your mother and David Boreanaz with Bones.

The rest got "stuck" in this niche and got gigs based on their appeal to the fandom but i got the feeling they were never fully able to shake off their Buffy characters (including Gellar).

From the sound of it Brendon is going through an even worse time in his life with his marriage falling apart so it's at least understandable. He just has the misfortune to once have been a popular actor on a popular show so his name makes news beyond the local.

I feel bad for Sarah. I think she more than any of the cast wanted to "shed" Buffy and it just hasn't worked out.

Yeah well.. truth to be told she ain't that good of an actress (at least in my opinion) and from what i've seen of her post Buffy wasn't that good too (maybe with the exception of Cruel Intentions). So besides being typecast and locked to one niche she wasn't able to break out in any significant way on her own.

Granted it's hard for actors to do that.. Shatner never was able and to his last day he will always be Kirk. Some actors like that manage to open up second avenues like directing and such and become quite good at it, Jonathan Frakes comes to mind.

Others may remain "in the fold" so to speak like Patrick Stewart but then he is an awesome actor and much of his work besides Science Fiction is truly wonderful.

Hannigan was in the American Pie movies at least, but went back to TV.

I always liked Gellar, and hope that she doesn't let her GOPism push her into being bitter against Hollywood because she's a conservative.

^Maybe she should work on becoming a better actress instead of defining herself only through BtVS and being a Republican.

Iirc that was a source of drama amongst the cast near the end of BtVS season 7 and her not telling anyone that she was leaving the show until they found out about it from a magazine interview.

Sounds like the rest of the cast might have been some way to wishing they could spike SMG.

Are you honestly telling me that Sara Michelle Gellar (THAT ####!) cancelled Buffy?

If she'd wanted to stay for season 8 that there would have been a season 8?

Did she cancel Swans Crossing as well?

Someone needs to throw dog poo at her house STAT.

Maybe people misunderstood her and didn't hire her because they thought she was complaining about how taxing her job is.
