Good lord, TSN has a Jets Meter?

Sorry, it's just that every damn week for the last 3 years they've repeated the same damn "news" over and over again. Nothing really changes from week to week and it's kinda annoying.

Well, if you're in Winnipeg, you'd hear more about it than the rest of us. Remember, the previous possible destination was Hamilton when Balsillie tried buying them.

I think the Canadiens should forfeit their Game 1 victory tonight. How are the Bruins supposed to have any chance if Montreal puts up a giant wall in front of their goal?

Big Money Pavelski comes through again. It was touch and go there throughout the entire game, but man, is there anyone more clutch in the playoffs than Joe Pavelski? (Other than a goaltender)

So, the good Sabres came to play last night... WTG Buffalo. I was thinking Flyers in six, now I might guess Sabres in 7.

Flyers are looking like the same team that's been playing the last couple of months in the regular season. Maybe this loss will snap them out of their funk, but I won't say I'm hopeful.

Why do the Sharks shift gears when it comes playoff time? I mean it's like they're expected to lose, and they don't want to exceed those expectations. I don't get it really. They won game 1, but it was a somewhat lucky win in a game they should have lost. Then they come out tonight and put forth that "effort" and well, it's new year, same crap.

I don't know anyone out there who had a good night for the Sharks, but once again Thornton (Our captain who fails to inspire the team or take any accountibility once so ever) and Marleau were non-existant out there tonight. The PK was atrocious from start to finish, and no, one guy does not make the team better. Having White there is a plus, sure, but I'm seeing the same problems I saw last year: No one in front of the net blocking the opponent's goalie, whiffing on shots, our leaders not firing the team up and taking action, and good god the PK was atrocious. I'm not blaming this game on the refs. I'm blaming this game on the team's ineptitude, which showed greatly tonight.

For once, I'm finally happy with how L.A. is doing. Yeah, it's tied but I'm so used to them not, or barely making the playoffs my expectations aren't too high.

Seeing Vancouver sweep Chicago would make me smile.

That settles it. If Vancouver sweeps tomorrow night, I'm going through this thread, making a list of everyone who has rooted for the Canucks in this series, and giving every last one of you a Patrick Kane avatar.

Don't think I won't do it.

And don't any of you dare to think about changing your avatars back.
