Ahhhhh......thank you. A 33 year old quarterback doesn't have forever, especially with the way this game goes in cycles. Injuries could always change good fortune to bad. Draft picks might not pan out. With a work stoppage looming, who knows how many more chances Brady will have? He's got good reason to look depressed. The Pats really blew it today. They may have been "ready to play" according to the commentators, but they looked flat.

Green Bay is actually now the Super Bowl favorite, according to online betting, though some of the markets have it only just barely ahead of Pittsburgh at the moment. Betfair has the probabilities of the final teams winning the Super Bowl as:

Betfair actually doesn't even suspend betting during games, so I was watching New England's odds slowly crash down to zero during the game.

BTW, Jets are the only team to beat both Indy and New England in the same playoff run. The Steelers are a tough team, but anything's possible.
If they play as well as they did yesterday they will be fine. However the same could have been said about the Pats....

I'd love to see Green Bay win it all, if only for Rodgers who was the picture of patience and loyalty as a backup. Plus, right now he's gotta be among the elite of QBs, now.
If the Bears win it, that'd make a great story with Lovie Smith coming back and actually winning one this time. Plus, it will bring Timby's blood pressure back down.
As much as I don't care for the Jets' braggadocio, it's fun to watch them trash talk and back it up.

Rodgers absolutely deserves it. I normally despise the team that beat my team with a passion. If it weren't for him and what he's had to go through, I probably would here too. But I think I've made an exception. I have to root for the Jets over the Steelers, but I'm pretty neutral on the NFC Championship game.
I truly look forward to the day when the Jets go through a really horrible couple years, leading to Rex getting fired and having to go back to being a coordinator somewhere. It's not because I want the guy to lose his job... it's just that as a coordinator, I won't have to hear him or read about him anymore.
Because of today, I am now the Steelers' number one fan. And if they drop the ball next week, I will become the number one fan of whoever represents the NFC this year, even if that means I have to root for Cry-Baby Jay.
