Time is becoming a big factor for the Pats. Kind of look like Rex Ryan is going to get his wish. I think I may be sick.
 
Well, that as they say, is that. The Pats picked a hell of a time to have a flat day offensively. The only team left in the playoffs that's palatable to root for is Green Bay, I suppose. They should have concentrated on practicing more and trash talking less.

You and me both. Guess I'll be rooting for Pittsburgh next week unless the Patriots get a minor miracle.
 
That's the second damn time a Jet's flopped and forced an injury timeout when the Patriots are driving down the field. :rolleyes:
 
Why didn't they kick off? On side kicks so rarely work. I can't say I think much of the Pats clock management this quarter. Yeah, I guess the Bears are preferable to the Steelers and Jets, too.
 
Aaaaand that's game.

Oh well. It was a good season; the Patriots did way better than I expected them to, honestly.
 
Excessive celebration. Like they give a shit at this point. I half expect someone to go take off their shoe and wiggle their toes at Wes Welker. I credit the Jets' defense, but the Pats have made some blunders, clock management not being the least of them. I'm glad I didn't bet this game.
 
talk about a shitty game from Brady and the Pats. Too bad, they had a great shot at going all the way, and choked in the first game...

On the plus side, they've got 3 of the first 33 picks, so should be able to reload and give it another go. Plus, they've got about 13 or 14 players on IR (around 6 starters, i think), so should come back pretty strong for 2011-2012.

*sigh*
 
You know.... I hope Santonio Holmes is cleaning up his life off the field, because he has been Mr. Clutch several times this season. How many game-winning scores has he caught?
