Well, in the end, the Chiefs managed to pull it off but it was a bit too close for comfort there for most of the game. But, again, Jacksonville's lack of a Quarterback should've meant that the game should have been far easier. The Chief's seemed to have a really good game with long passes and Jacksonville had no passing game at all.
We maintain our first-place position in our division. Man, I hope to at least see a playoff game this year.
The first half was really scary, I think perhaps the game that got away in Houston may have still been messing with their heads a little because D looked pretty bad. And frankly the QB who "was on a tractor on Tuesday" as the announcers kept reminding us, outplayed the veteran Cassel during that first half. Fortunately Cassel and the defense both stepped it up in the second half. It was almost like that final standing, holding the Jags to a FG at the end of the first half, kind of snapped them out of it.
I'm happy for the win, but Cassel is still a liability that's ultimately going to cost us.
