NFL Talk - 2010-11 Season

The Chiefs stumble onto another win on luck and stupidity. They really need to step up their game, though. Two wins, sure, but they're wins that came from the other team making more mistakes rather the Chief's talent.

I love seeing the Packers 2-0 and the Vikings 0-2. The Vikes WR corps is a wreck. And Brett Favre isn't helping things with his erratic play (sucks that I have him as my QB in the keeper league). I'd love to see the Lions win next week and really put a panic into the Vikes.

I think they're already panicked. Brett should have shown up to training camp.

No kidding. While I have never been a Favre fan or enemy, that worried me a bit as to how it'd affect his play with the rest of the team. Yeah, at his age, his body can't take the pounding it once did, but conditioning is just one goal of the pre-season. There is also training with other teammates where timing is crucial.

This has been less of a problem for another notorious holdout ... Derelle Revis. In his case it definitely seems to be a question of conditioning.

The Texans are the greatest team in the NFL ever!!!!11!!!

Just kidding. LOL. I'm glad they are finally showing up to games now. Next week we get Dallas at home, and I would just love to beat up on Dallas after taking care of Washington.

Man, that Washington game took a few years off this old mans life.

I knew in my gut that the Titans would be 1-1 at this point. I just didn't know the loss would be so ugly.

If you only saw the box score of the Titans v Steelers game and thought, "Hey it was a one possession game must've been a good game." then you would be wrong.
The Titans should've lost that game by 24points for it to reflect just how poorly they played offensively. If the defense had played as bad the score would've reflected those 7 turnovers adequetely.

I can only hope that when we play the Giants next week that they play as sloppy as they did last night. Our luck they will be out for blood to erase the ass kicking the Colts gave them though.

Broncos receiver Kenny McKinley was found dead Monday at age 23. They're investigating it as a suicide. :(

If they're that certain it's a suicide already the kid must have blown his brains out. They can always tell from the angle and splatter. 23 and completely out of hope. The mind boggles.

That's terrible. Denver Post story. He left a young son behind.

Not to be keeping count, but he's the third active Broncos player to die in the last 4 years, the other two being Darrent Williams, gunned down in a drive by in 2007, and Damien Nash collapsed and died after a charity basketball game in late 2007.

And Jets' receiver Braylon Edwards was picked up last night for DWI. Blew a .16 at 5am! Not sure why these idiots don't hire drivers, or get a limo, or whatever. Either way, gonna get fined, maybe suspended. This was also the guy that was out drinking with Donte Stallworth late into the morning the day Stallworth killed a pedestrian a couple years back. Guess Edwards didn't get the message...

When will these assholes ever learn something other than fucking up their lives and possibly others? How fucking dense are some people? Jeez.

It's even more retarded when you consider that the Jets have a 24-hour PlayerProtect service in place. Any Jets player in the New York / New Jersey area can call a hotline at any time and get a ride to any destination and / or a ride home, no questions asked (at no charge to the player; the team pays for it). They'll even make arrangements to get your car home.

Another case of an athlete with a God complex.

Looks like the Jason Campbell era in Oakland is officially over after six quarters.

Bruce Gradkowski is getting the start Sunday.

What are the odds that Al Davis threatened to fire the coach if he didn't start Gradkowski?
