Just got back from Arrowhead.
Well . . . that sucked. But the better team won. The playoffs work.
Oh and Charlie Weiss, don't let the the door hit you on your rather large ass on the way out.

Sorry that didn't work out for you. I'll bet it was still a great experience. A playoff game at Arrowhead.

It was a little shocking to see the number of no-shows. A lot of seats in the 2 rows in front of me were empty. I presume the weather may have been a contributing factor in that.

Well I would inclined to call myself a jinx since I'm now 0-2 for playoff games at Arrowhead, but seeing how the Chiefs haven't won a playoff game since 1993, I think the problem is bigger than me.
The results were not unexpected today, and as I said, I believe the better team won. What was distressing to me however was how inept the offense looked for the second week in a row. A lot of that credit goes to the good defense by the Ravens, but the Chiefs also were flat out bad on the offensive side of the ball and the defense couldn't shut down the Ravens all day.
We seemed to have the return of "Casshole" as some people have nicknamed him. After remarkable improvement, he totally regressed. My seats are in the end zone and for one of the interceptions I was pretty much sitting on a direct line behind him and I knew it was an interception before it ever left his hands. Yeah he was locked in that bad on the receiver. That's the part that's disheartening to me more than the loss, the fact that my suspicion was correct, and he is not the answer. I do NOT take any pleasure in being right.
Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha's contract voided and he will be allowed to become a free agent without the Oakland Raiders being able to use their franchise tag on him, Raiders senior executive John Herrera confirmed Sunday.
Asomugha's deal included a little-known clause that said his contract would void if he didn't achieve his not-likely-to-be-earned incentives in 2010 -- and he didn't.
His contract also contained a stipulation that if he didn't achieve his incentives, the Raiders would agree not to designate him their franchise or transition player.
