Under his helmet? That mop is way below the helmet It looks like Brady uses a curling iron on the ends and mousses it up. :wtf: Not like some cool long hair on a biker. Young, pretty white guys don't need that hair. I'm too distracted by the pretty long hair to notice the stats.

Attempts at running up the score are balanced with desires to run out the clock. If the Eagles had running backs that would break through for TDs on consistent plays, it would be different. I know they said what it was, but what's the record?

I think it's 73.

The most points scored in a regular season game is 72, which was accomplished (somewhat ironically, given tonight's shellacking) by the Redskins in 1966, when they beat the Giants 72-41. The most points ever scored in a playoff game is 73, when the Bears beat (I'm sensing a theme here...) the Redskins 73-0 in 1940.

Oh, I heard enough to be thankful I had to work late. I understand one of the announcers was waxing so poetic about Vick's "triumph" over adversity that you'd think he overcame cancer or something. The people at my other board said it was nauseating it was so over the top. I'm not the only Vick hater out there by a shot. These folks leave me in the dust.

Did I miss the comments about the Skins offering McNabb mucho money after benching him a few weeks back? The guy's in his mid-30's and well into the downside of his career, yet gets thrown a gigantic pile of money from Dan Snyder?

I would say the Skins were truly fucked in the head, but ESPN.com is reporting that the Skins will "only" have to pay him a small part of the total if he gets cut after this season. I don't think anyone with a functioning brain sees this deal going the full 5 years given McNabb's abilities of late.

I'd jump on that in a heartbeat if I were in McNabb's shoes. I still have to wonder what Dan Snyder is smoking, though.

They can cut him after the 2010 season with little cost. That's pretty good. I assumed the signing bonus would have shown a little more confidence, but it's a really strange one of "we'll show confidence in you next year." It strikes me more as an apology for benching him than any actual showing of faith.
